Not all Qantas rewards seats avalable to book with AA miles?

Trying to book Qantas first class LAX-SYD rewards the Qantas site shows 2 seats available and the BA site shows 2 seats available for my dates but when I go to book with my AA miles it shows no availability. Are all Qantas rewards available to book with AA miles? The booking is only 5 months out.

what date ? considering the a380 is not really operating LAX SYD ( except for adhoc flights) and the A380 is the only aircraft that offers F class ...Could be a system error

The date was the 28th sep (seats are taken now) but would be unlikely a system error if seats were also on BA site?

I have struck this before with availability on Qantas and not on AA
