As part of our pursuit of the Northern Ligts we have passed through Oslo and Bergen.
The Bergen sectors were flown on Norwegian and to say LCC is flattering. The ground and airborne staff have as little to do with pax as possible. Self check required, Boarding is like at a railway station with scanners there to welcome you. The airport here is minimal to go with the service.
Oslo is more friendly, we are flying AY and both the checkin and lounge are polite and simple. The food in the business lounge is light and the drinks limited to wine ,beer or softies.
Importantly, checkin gates open 2 hours before departure. We did see the lights. Mission accomplished.
