Given that the North East of the US is about to be hit by what's been described on FOX as a 'bad looking blizzard', I thought it would be worth starting a thread for advice, updates etc. as this is going to effect a lot of folks.
It seems that many airlines into BOS, JFK, LGA and other airports have cancelled many flights for Friday (US time).
Qantas have issued the following: Flight Disruptions | Qantas
I am flying SYD-DFW tomorrow afternoon and get in Saturday (US time) around 1300. Flight to BOS is AA574 (QF codeshare flight) and leaves at 3.40pm. At this stage AA haven't cancelled any saturday flights yet.
For those that have experienced such delays in the past, is it worth waiting until closer to departure where more information may be available before I contact QF? I would presume that they may have more information about any AA cancellations when I check in tomorrow?
Any advice would be appreciated.
