no upgrade availability?

Hey all,

Trying to help out my oldies and book them some J flights to europe next year around the Aug/Sept/Oct window....I know this is busy, however, looking online, I cannot see any business reward/upgrades available at all...and I've looked from July-October.

Is there something going on or just no availability?

I've found a few random dates of PE reward/upgrade for the AUH-SYD leg, but even these are few and far between...

You will only be able to upgrade a VA operated flight ie VA29-30 and these flights are only 3-4 times a week
If you have the points you would be better off looking for a J reward seat on EY.
