No More Accor Advantage Plus for Amex Plat?

Anybody got any more news on the Accor Plus for Plat card holders?

The AMEX Platinum Charge webpage has been recently updated with the 100k / 120k bonus points promo and shows Accor Plus only until 30 Sept 2015...

• Enjoy complimentary membership in the Accor Plus program[SUP]8[/SUP] until 30 September 2015. Once enrolled, membership entitles you to benefits including a complimentary night’s stay each year, with over 200 Accor properties in Australia and 600 throughout Asia-Pacific to choose from. As an Accor Plus member, you are also enrolled as a Platinum member in Le Club Accorhotels[SUP]16[/SUP] – Accor’s worldwide loyalty program.

Yes I did see that, thinking about it not sure if Accor would tell me if Amex would renew anyway, contracts etc etc etc .....

I would consider seriously paying for Accor Plus if Amex don't continue after Sept 2015.

Probably not and I don't think a call to AMEX will add much more to the info above... realistically this would be a pretty serious "enhancement" as the Accor Plus membership is worth $349 so if they don't renew it they better come up with something better or reduce the $1200 annual fee accordingly. The latter is unlikely in my view as they just increased the sign-up bonus to 120k MR points!
