They just launched Navigo on Apple Pay, so hopefully visitors learn to use that... Unfortunately in practice I suspect there's still be a large number of people who *must* line up and buy a single-trip ticket from a person for every ticket (you see this a lot in Japan, where many can just get a transit card on their iPhone).

I think I tried to install that and failed so that would have been much more useful

Ah OK maybe I was trying to download it and it wasn't available -maybe it was available on Android
