No Classic award seats (via Qantas) on Qatar Airways?

I'm trying to book Classic award flights using my Qantas Frequent Flyer points on a flight to Europe on Qatar Airways (via Doha) - for about 11 months time. But I can't see using the Qantas website, multi-city booking system, any Classic award flights on Qatar flights ex Australia. For example, I'm flying from Adelaide: the online booking system offers me Adelaide-KL, then KL-Doha. I tried Adelaide -Perth-Doha: same problem. I rang Qantas to try to book Adelaide-Doha over the phone: the person I spoke to said his system wasn't showing any Classis award flights on Qatar flights either. On the Qatar Airways website the flights I'm trying to book are shown, so they do exist. There just seem to be no classic award flights on Qatar on offer by Qantas. Have others experienced this? Any suggestions?

I managed to snag one - actually a few, once a week - for October (next month) just a couple of weeks ago. But I agree, just aren't many there for next year. I'm looking too.
