Fielded a call from the SIA call centre this week. They noticed that one of my waitlisted bookings was about to lapse as it hadn't come through. It was a surprise to hear that they are pro-actively following these up before they drop out of the system.

Also, I notice on the website that they have reinstated the 'cancel booking' button on Waitists bookings. That will certainly reduce their call centre load.

As for my waitlisted booking I had replaced it with a paid booking on Qantas. Argh, I felt dirty.
