Hi all

I'm another new member - thought I would do the introduction thing.
I live in Sydney, and was doing quite a bit of travel to/from BNE for work up until recently (twice a month), so I got to know the DJ lounges and planes reasonably well.
Having always flown QF domestic and international before, going to DJ was a bit of a change.

Anyway, looking forward to learning lots and trying to rebuild my status on QF back to PS, with self-funded leisure travel.

Cheers

Hi bjm76,

Welcome to AFF! I am sure you will find a wealth of information here for both QF and DJ.

As I fly QF I haven't used the DJ Lounges, might try them one day!

Hi Nick

Thanks for your reply!

Yes I am sure I will learn alot here... looking forward to it, and sharing my experiences.

As for the DJ Lounges - it is all a matter of personal choice. I have sampled both QF and DJ lounges and I think QF is generally a bit better, but I know some people think the food at the DJ lounges is better.

All I need to do is convince my employer to change their airline preference to QF and then I would be back at the QF lounges!

Cheers

Depends on their reasoning to use DJ. The reasons can vary for example some people only get BFOD, others get to pick their flights. I can generally pick my flights hence I use QF.
