New Gold membership package

Hi all I thought I would share the new gold card and luggage tag design my mothers just arrived today and we found out it was a new design I have already ordered mine... This is the GW version. New luggage tags but sadly still plastic and even flimsier than before they also don't hide your membership info in between two cards like the platinum ones are shown to do.

I think they may have updated all cards to this type of design including platinum because they have a GW thing in the info booklet and it shows all four cards with the new design if any plats get a new card let us know

My plat card is the new one, except I never really use it and don't use the luggage tags

Black matt finish broken up like you have said.

I think they have been issued since OCT last year. They may have changed it again to line up with red silver and gold

Well I received my new gold card last week and it was still the old design (which doesn't have the name of the airline anywhere on the card). Hmm..

It does look good though!

I received a new card last week also (damaged card) and it had the old design the call centre was a bit weird about re ordering ordering one but they did

my review date was 23rd of march which I retained gold, I received my new card in the mail yesterday. Didn't get any new bag tags or anything, all it was, was a cover letter with a new card attached but it was still the same old card as well.

They don't seem to send out new bag tags if you re-qualify at the same level - I certainly didn't get any last time. Had to call up to request the new style platinum ones be delivered.

Well, when you have Lemons, Make Lemonade ;-) ...or as you did, make a call.

But back in reality-land....much like the Telcos treat us as already SIGNED UP customers,...They basically don't care about you, unless you voice your opinion....and risk them losing you.

Sad but true way that business sees loyalty in many respects these days.

That being said, The Telcos are far worse at recognising loyalty than almost any other business in the product/service industry.

So for the sake of a phone call, I'm guessing you got off lightly.

Oh, btw, damn you and your awesome Plat cards ;-)

I like that it clearly sets out the review date and card expiry date a month later, separately! Will hopefully lead to less explaining when travelling right after the review date with partner airlines.

IIRC the GW version has always done this here is one of the old cards (photo from a friend)



But yes it would be nice for it to show on the non-GW version ill let everyone know when my new one arrives in 2 weeks

I received my new Gold card (non-GW version) a couple of weeks ago and it still only shows "review date", but not the card expiry date, it just has the usual "card valid for one month after review date" printed on the back.

The new plat tags i have are split with hidden name and number... and i also recieved a strange 'destination inspiration' headphone packet.... ummm wtf?

I'd like a new one! Just received my 'new' SG card and it's the old version.....first world problem though - I'm just stoked that I've managed to retain status again!!!

Ordered some replacement bag tags and a new card about a week ago, received them today (funnily enough all in 3 separate envelopes) and can confirm they are the new style.
