Got this offer recently when I logged into my account. Upgrade to Ultimate - 60000 Qantas points and $200 cash back when you spend $3000 in 3 months. Offer ends 15 November. I think I may take this offer as last promotion was 50000 points and no cash back.

We had a Velocity Platinum that we downgraded to an Essential when it looked like VA would collapse and then were offered either an Explorer or Ultimate upgrade on similar terms around 3-6 months later.
