New Amex statement credits

3 new offers today;

Harris Farm Markets - spend 50 for 25 credit
Kikki-k - spend 10 for 5 credit
Cellarmasters - spend 120 for 50 credit.

Should be a great chance to double-dip with the Cellarmasters offer.

I'm not seeing these on my account yet.... maybe targetted...

The cellarmasters may be targeted, but the other two are not.

Manual links here for those:

I just found these on my DJ Amex site, does anyone have a manual link for Dan Murphy's that I can use for my other cards?

There's a Dan Murphy's offer as well?

You can get an additional 8.8% back via cashrewards as well.

Probably not if combined with one of the available discount codes and/or a gift card. I was intending to use a gift card for part of my order as you need to spend only $120 to trigger the AMEX cash reward.

Mine too.

The T&Cs state payment online or instore. As it does not appear possible to split an online payment where you are already paying monthly, would you think an over-the-phone transaction qualifies?

Keep us posted if you get credited.
I was thinking of buying an Events gift card $100 and splitting payment over 5 cards...
will they even split payments at Event?

Took 8 days but $10 credit just posted.

Now to make use of the same deal on my other cards :)

If you are referring to HCF, you can pay online (unless you have previously overpaid a year in advance I believe).
Go to Your details>Make a Payment then change the payment amount.

Yep, now available in Amex connect for non Amex issued cards. I'm going to make close to $500 profit out of this one.

Thanks for the heads up

If you are paying monthly automatically it is not possible to change the payment amount.
I suppose this is because the amount is yearly paid in 12 equal installments.
HCF will accept a part payment over the phone but don't know if this complies with T&Cs.

I see-I pay monthly but by credit card direct debit

It will show the monthly figure online, but you can change it (isn't obvious though), by clicking on the amount shaded in pink.

Not on my login page "Make a Payment". All fields for the credit card, card details etc are "pinked" but not the payment amount. I might try an over the phone payment for a one month amount in 9 nearly equal amounts.

Re HCF cash back deal.

I don't have a health insurance policy with HCF and I've just checked and my current provider is cheaper than HCF, so there's no point in switching.

But I'm thinking this is possible. Can anyone see a problem with my logic? Ethics may be a separate matter.

1) Join HCF health insurance cover.
2) Make 3 x $1 payments with each of my 10 AMEX cards.
3) Wait for cash back and collect $1000. Making $970 profit - minus the cheapest cost of 1 months health insurance (which appears to be $2.80 per week for a singles extra cover).
4) Wait a month and cancel the cover.

Ummm Ralph, gaming?

I'm considering it. But where does the money come from? AMEX? Or HCF? If it's HCF I'm inclined to not go ahead as it's not for profit. But if it's AMEX I'm inclined to proceed.
