just heard about a new operator, who will be flying out of Bankstown from around the 3rd quarter of 2019. Heard they will be offering 30 something seat aircraft for charters anywhere.
With all the mess at Sydney (weather delays, congestions delays, security delays, power outages, computer outages, high car parking costs etc.) they might be onto something, especially for corporate groups. Don't think there are any car parking costs at Bankstown, which means people could drive their own cars without having to think about taxis, Uber or parking costs.
Perhaps charters to Essendon might be popular, especially for those millions of people who don't live anywhere near Mascot.
