Re: AA enhAAncements

More bloatware ...

Good thing they have not changed the multi booking tool, YUPPERS can rest easily for the time being.

Something strange with AA

Pondering doing some LAS-SJU-LAS flights in business/first in the very near future. It seems way more expensive to book on the US site than on the Australian site. Never seen this before, the AA US site no longer allows you to see all choices on the one page as it used to. And the prices....

Anyone else seen this?

UPDATE: The AA FT site is reporting similar problems in terms of usage of the "new look".

As I understand it - the new AA site quotes return fares whilst the AU site is still one-way.....

Something strange with AA

Didn't I see something about AA changing their fare structure?

Re: Something strange with AA

There is a new structure for the AA.com (US site). For instant upgrade fares you need to select a different tab once the results are returned. If you want something more like the old search results you can select the multi-city tool (unless they have changed that since yesterday).

The AA.com.au site doesn't seem to offer YUP fares anymore? At least for the booking I was looking at to SJU. All I get now is coach, fully refundable coach, or business special (and First regular). On the coach fares, they are so high that for around $90 bucks more on the US site i can fly first.

there was come talk that the $150 change fee for YUPs had gone. But my SJU booking still returned a 'this fare is non-refundable' message (along with a $150 change fee)

You''be fine - I have merged the relevant threads.

FWIW, as I posted earler, the 'all important' multi segment engine still exists in it's 'legacy' form.

The "Bloatware" price&schedule search does indeed show the round trip price rather than the one-way.

Also, the tabls show the cheapest economy price, even when Business/First are selected.
