Flying QF to NRT as part of a OW award in J - arriving 6.15am for a stopover in Tokyo.
Check-in not available at hotel till 2pm so would like to shower +/- eat at the airport before heading into Tokyo.
I know there are public showers and have previously used the QF J lounge as a transiting pax but I recall having to wait around for it to open at 8.30am.

Anyone know if I have any reciprocal lounge options? Showering is the priority so any chance of getting in early at the QF lounge for one?
I don't have status.

No inbound lounge is available

Recommend you check with your hotel, to see if they have anything like a gym with showering facility.

You may be lucky with an early check-in.

I usually get my room around 10:30am.

Also recommend you take a bottle of water off the plane, as nothing is open and there is a wait before your train/bus departs.

Last time I took this flight by the time we got to the hotel it was mid-morning and we were able to check in straight away. YMMV of course and its never guaranteed, status with the hotel chain helps.

Cheers

Timmi
