Hi,
Thanks in advance to all the knowledgeable FFs out there. I will be leaving from NRT at 0915 to HKG/KUL after having arrived there the night before at about 1800. Does anyone have hotel suggestions around NRT airport as I don't think it will be convenient to be in Tokyo overnight and leave Tokyo early enough to catch the flight out at 0915 (I love my sleep :)) Thanks

I've previously stayed at Holiday Inn Narita, did the job and had free, regular shuttle buses to and from the hotel.

Two locations for hotels in Narita.

In Narita Town - one train stop away from the Airport which has more eating and entertainment options. Can then take the train into the airport in the morning.

At Narita Airport - in and around the airport precinct itself. Note that none of the Airport hotels are directly connected to or in the terminals - you will have to take a shuttle bus to all of them.

I recently stayed at the Marroad International Hotel in one of the runway view rooms. (u/f the wrong runway for that morning). It is cheap, but very dated and basic with an ok Japanese/ Western buffet on the top floor.

Excellent choice!

My wife and daughter stayed there last week and it was great!

If you have time, suggest you book the 2 week advance purchase on the Holiday Inn website. Best rates at NRT and can include buffet breakfast.

BTW, I'm sending this message from the UA Red Carpet Club at Narita at this very moment!

We have always used the Hilton which is very good especially if you have Hhonors status.you can usually get it for ~ $US100.Free shuttle to the airport and narita town.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn one time too and found it did the job and was cheap - around $85 from memory

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn twice before & are returning next Feb staying in the West wing.
One the first trip we arrived on the early QF flight. They checked us in to our room at about 08:00 (instead of 1400) with no extra charge.
We had occassion to stay again last Feb when we missed our QF 20:00 flight. The assistance we got from the hotel in trying to rebook our flight was exceptional.
I have considered the Hyatt before but the HI is hard to beat for service & value. It's just outside the airport with a free shuttle that also runs to Narita town.
