Hi, For the purpose of this question, my name is Mr John Doe.

I have booked to e-Tickets today on CX for Feb next year. One SIN-HKG and a few days later HKG-NRT.

Now the problem is when the email came through the tickets have been issued in the name of Mr Doe John.

Will this cause me a problem checking in?

Regards,
Mr Doe

On another airline ?SQ I think, I had Doe Middlename John, and didn't have a problem. I would give CX a quick ring to check, however, for peace of mind;)

Actually, in Chinese your name would be Doe John Middlename as your surname is always written first...maybe that's why the Cx computer got "confused"!

I don't think this is a problem! If I remember correctly QF itineraries and most boarding passes are issued as Surname/FirstName MR.
