Card Promotions NAB Rewards Platinum Credit Card: 60,000 Bonus Velocity Points with $1,000 Spend in 60 Days, $95 Annual Fee

Apparently because I signed up to the card through NAB, it’s mistakenly given me the wrong amount of points.

When I called, they acknowledged it was a system error and assured the remaining balance would be applied within 5-10 days.

It’s now been well over that time and all they say is that admin is backed up and can’t provide me any timeframe. So frustrating.
Oh and I should give them credit for the 5000 velocity points they gave me as an apology - which posted within the hour…

Is the NAB Rewards Platinum Card with Velocity the same as the NAB Rewards Platinum Card? It appears so but just that the velocity option is where you automatically select to move points regularly to velocity.

Yes they’re same card

Fairly painless application and approval process for this card and $1000 minimum spend is a lot better than some other cards around. I did have to go in branch to verify my identity but that was because I fat fingered my address on the application. Received approval the next day.

Handy to be able to add the card to Google pay as soon as approved although not quite as good as Westpac where they give you the card details, and dynamic CVV, so you can use your card online straight away as well.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Has anyone here successfully gotten this card with a minimum credit limit less than the advertised minimum of $6000?

I was able to do this easily with the comparable Westpac Velocity Platinum where the assessor set my limit all the way down to $2000 which was easy to get approved for.

Has anyone either applied for lower than $6000 credit limit with this card, or had it approved and then been able to reduce the limit below $6000?
