Myanmar Govt announces new express 24 hour Tourist e-visa

Myanmar's e-visa service (the official one through MLIP, not the rip off ones passing themselves off as official ) has announced that as of April 1st they will provide an express visa service.

It is for tourist visas only and does not apply to Business Visas done through the e-visa service.

Cost will be USD$56 (normal cost is USD$50 - nice to see they are not charging an exorbitant fee for this)

Announcement - Tourist Visa (Express Service)

Dear Valued Visitors,

We are pleased to announce our official Tourist Visa (Express Service), which will be available starting April 1 st, 2018. With this new service, you can apply for a regular Tourist Visa using expedited application processing, 365 days a year, with results e-mailed within 24 hours. The cost of this service is $56, and is available to all applicants currently eligible for a regular Tourist Visa. Note that Express Service is not available for Business Visa. Finally, please be reminded that all services are strictly non-refundable, and all other terms and conditions apply.
