In a previous thread I got some good advice about cheap travel insurance but now I have the following dilemma:
My wife is Irish (temp 4yr working visa in Australia) and our daughter (10 wks) is Australian Citizen. They are traveling together on a trip to Europe and need insurance. The Australian insurances won't insure her as she is not Australian Perm Resident or Citizen. The Irish insurances won't insure because she has not lived in Ireland for the last 6 months. Our daughter can't take out insurance because she is a "dependent" infant.
I'm joining them later but will have insurance through my work (I'm traveling for business).
One option could be for me to take out insurance for the family BUT I'm not with them for the whole trip so not sure if this possible.
HELP (really don't want them overseas without insurance) !:?:
Any ideas ?
