More 744s on Domestic fill in duties

I have had it twice out of the 5 times I have flown BNE-MEL, 627 and 604 are mostly 763 during the week.

I've had a couple of 763's from Mel-Bne as well recently. There was a press release saying they were going to increase capacity on the route a few months back, however it seems to be weekdays only from my experience as well.

Bring on the 787's ... oh wait, is that another delay I hear of???

and here I was getting all excited that we where going to see a return of the 747's on the SYD \ MEL to PER routes...

If it isn't a 767 now, I doubt that you'd see a 787.

But that's the thing - I have seen 767's on occasion from MEL-BNE - mainly weekdays
