Mobile phone & data use while in Turkey - recommended providers?

hi

I have a 2 week tour there soon. Taking my (Telstra) Android phone would be exhorbitantly expensive to use.

Does anyone recommend a particular SIM provider there? Having the phone is not a big deal, but it could be handy - I'd only need it for SMS, some data for Google Maps, & emergency calls.
