Is it true that mixed class fares are unavailable on CX?

After doing a mixed class fare on QF with a HK-based TA working at another centre for flights bookings, I asked about mixed class CX HKG-BKK (J/Y) and was told this wasn't possible.

I will ring CX direct later tonight, but does anyone know why this might be the case?

A little late to the party on this but whilst mixed class is clearly not available on the CX website, I have just organised a mixed PE/J fare for a trip to BKK. When I asked the agent if it is available on all flights, his response was that it depends on where you are flying but generally it is available.

not sure if its available in different cabin class but definitely doable in the same class of service (eg I have a mixed M & K class fare frmo HKG-ICN upcoming)

I have an E class outbound SYD-HKG-BKK; I class inbound BKK-HKG-MEL so it is definitely possible.
