Missing a segment on a Business (I) Airfare

Hi Guys

Currently have a itinerary of:

Segment 1)LA - HK - Sin (all in one go)

2) Sin - Hk

3) HK - LA (about a month after segment 2).


What would happen if i don't fly segment 2? I may have business commitments and need to fly to Manila from Singapore (which ill use points on SQ for) and will miss the Sin to HK before linking back in to HK before my flight back to LA.


Any suggestions or ideas what would happen?

Basically if you miss a flight without permission from the airline any remaining flights on the same PNR will be cancelled.

Not sure about the conditions of an I class fare but you will need to discuss it with CX and get their approval to cancel the specific leg.

ask if they can reroute you so you pick up the return leg from MNL-HKG instead

definetely dont miss the leg without speaking to them first or they will autocancel the lot
