Quick question - does the minimum points earning apply on non-QF flights? I am flying AMM-JED in J on RJ for 731 miles and wondering if I will get 1,250 points...

Hmm - I think it doesn't as they show minimum points earning on RJ in whY of 296...AMM-Cairo

Don't think so, when on BA flight number I get 500 points for J LHR to BRU, if I get it booked as QF flight number on same flight I get 1250...

Just checked and you do get a 25% cabin bonus qantas partner page

Ah well - I guess missing the status bonus BKK-AMM-JED hurts more though...

It is a big difference. First time I did Finnair I was shocked as well, second time I was prepared but it still hurted, lucky the price tag made up for it

Yeah - colleague flew J SYD-LHR-SYD on CX and was stunned at the reduced point earning... My prior trips to JED have been on CX and have missed that status bonus quite a bit (three trips so notionally if the status bonus did accrue I would be 70K points better off).
