Apologies for bringing this subject up again.
Newbie forum user here. I've been reading like mad to get some understanding.

I am travelling with my family on Turkish Airlines to Sweden in June. The first leg is with Qantas, and the rest is Turkish.
My middle name is missing from my ticket, but it is present on my passport. The rest of the family has their middle name on the ticket and passport.
Has anyone had any experience with Turkish Airlines?
I have been told by Turkish Airlines to purchase a new ticket (just for me). I'm looking at a cost of over $4k, and I can't even find the same flights. It seems ridiculous.
Any thoughts or experiences?

Unsure about Turkish specifically but there have been plenty of posts in general that presence or lack of middle name is not a problem.

It definitely seems to be the general understanding. Thanks for the response.
Hard to wait a couple of months in hope that it will all go through without some assurance. I would be sweating on check-in.

I’ve never booked with my middle name and never had an issue. This includes Turkish.
I’ve heard of one LCC ?vietnamese? Make people buy a new ticket or pay a name change fee but that’s it.
