I recently bought an MH ticket online. No big deal I have done it before...

But I also use the MH website for looking at fares. Especially when commenting on competitive issues from Australia. After having done so this morning I received an email from malaysia airlines saying that they had "saved" the latest query for me.

I deleted the malaysia airline cookies. You might consider doing this as well if you use the site for research.

Virgin Australia do the same thing. I've had emails suggesting I take a look at a particular destination that I've searched for. If it came with an enticing discount I'd be more tempted...

QF also remembers your last flight search.

But QF aren't sending me emails highlighting that the flights of my last search are still available...
The use of (local) cookies I understand. It is when the data is retained on the company's database that I start to get annoyed.

QF also remembers your last flight search.

As with everything QF that is consistently inconsistent. Extremely frustrating to have to re-enter details multiple times when searching variations during one session, then 4 days late all the details of that search is waiting to go.
