Random MH International cabin shot + amenity kit (Tumi bag with a lot of contents) . . .

Did you get the amenity kit on SYD-KUL? I flew PER-KUL this week in J on the 0145 departure and there were no amenity kits I was very disappointed.

Yes SYD to KUl & KUL to SYD handed out about 10 mins after take off with headphones.

And I must say I like the Tumi bag. This will make it into my general use bag for bits & peaces of stuff as it has a lot of little pockets inside.

Here is a couple more pics of it (I think I have a mild obsession with it)

If travelling alone I would suggest a mid cabin seat. That way you get an aisle and your seat mate also gets an aisle (provided you like an aisle seat).
Nobody to climb over you if you want to get some shut eye. I think my preferred seat would be 4G (IIRC there was no row 3) on their A330-300. So 4 is actually 3. Far enough away from the front row (babies, people going to forward toilet, crew working etc) and far enough away from the rear 2 toilets. I found it to have less foot traffic movements but gave me choice of going front or rear for toilets and I could see what was happening re food service i.e had time to wake and prep for service or do a quick toilet run before service.

You can see I give these things way toooooo much thought. But I like to get it right then each time from then on it is a pre-made decision and the flight is a comfortable one.

I believe I'm in 1A and 1K but can't do the manage booking yet to change seats. I'm on the day flights both ways so the window seat may be my preference, especially as its likely to be a day doing work anyhow. However...not having to step past anyone is a BIG plus!

Completely understand :D
