Melbourne Airport and Lounge food options....?

After the last few visits to Melbourne airport i have been unlucky enough to have had nothing but a cold buffet or toast for breakfast. Not really ideal if I'm honest. Venturing out of the lounge seems to only offer a rather bad breakfast options with ridiculous bendy plastic cutlery. Once past security (VA) the options are pretty awful.
Is there seriously nowhere to get a proper breakfast at Melbourne airport? Or am i missing somewhere good?

There is an Irish Pub in T3 called PJ O'Briens that does breakfast. They don't open till 7am thought. You get a metal knife and fork.

The breakfast isn't to bad and the prices are quite good for the airport.
