We are a family travelling Melb-LA. 2A 2C(aged 11,10)...on Sunday 23/9.
Virgin and United are via Sydney that day, so have been looking at QF93 direct A380 or Air New Zealand via Auckland on the economy skybed.
As I'm a nervous flyer I was looking at the skybed option(i'm 6 foot). With the skybed, myself and son would have 3 seats and my wife and daughter would have 3 seats. The skybed wouldn't cost that much more than the Qantas A380 direct flight.
Any feedback would be most welcome.
Also, if anyone recommends the A380, which row number in economy for a family is best?
