Interesting. I suspect this is as much about expanding the market as it is direct competition. One of the difficulties with airbnb is a certain group people dont feel that confident with the arrangements and setup so having more professional accommodation providers overseeing and guaranteeing quality standards - it could see new set of “guests” in the home share market.
