Apparently targeted emails were sent out but the promo code can just be entered into the Marriott booking engine. (Book at your own risk etc)

All rates under this code seem to be flexible with free cancellation up to the day prior. Fairly good discounts across quite a few properties in Aus, a few examples for a mid-week stay in March:

Marriott Melbourne - Premier Queen $249 > $199
Midnight Hotel, AC Canberra - Midnight Lounge, $218 > $131 (!)
Sheraton Melbourne - Superior King $295 > $206
Sheraton Melbourne - Grand Deluxe King, Garden View High Floor $365 > $255
W Melbourne - Cozy King (35sqm) $349 > $279
W Melbourne - Wonderful King (37sqm) $379 > $303
Westin Melbourne - Standard King $310 > $248

I tried my dates again (22 & 23 April) and did get a small discount. $318 down to $283, ~11% discount

Does anyone know if this promo will stack with the Double Points and Elite Nights promo?

I would expect it to do so, provided you have registered for the promo.

But others may have more experience.

Thanks for the tipoff on this by the way, @sudoer. I got bookings at the Midnight in Canberra the week after Easter for $124/nt (and the cheapest isn't even the base room).

Cheers.

I was actually looking at Canberra’s Midnight Hotel too, but for Easter. Just slightly more expensive at $136 a night. Still heaps cheap.

There are some ridiculous prices for this property - especially when you consider there's 4 beers and 2 x half bottles of decent wine in the complimentary minibar. Complimentary breakfast for Plats and above is also excellent. If you haven't stayed before, I wrote a review of sorts on the property here: Marriott comes to Canberra.

Yes, thanks, I read the review. Getting all that plus my double Bonvoy points and nights feels like excellent value for the money.

FYI @mrsquare and all, I can confirm I did receive double points/nights on my stay with this promo at the Midnight in Canberra this week.

Also, I can confirm that I was not asked to substantiate that I was targeted for this deal, but as always YMMV.
