Good morning all

Can anybody recommend a good hotel in Manila, I am looking for a centrally located or one that is close to public transport. I have been looking through trip advisor and the reviews are all hit and miss.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

regards

Where to stay in Manila depends a lot on where you need to be..getting around tends to be a bit of a nightmare. Saying "centrally located" is not very meaningful; the city has several areas that might be described as "centres".

If you have the money the Makati Shangri-la is (IMHO) one of the best hotels in the world. Luckily I get a corporate rate there so go a lot. Breakfast buffet also one of the best

Agree and a very good music bar there as well.

Alsoi InterCon across the road have some good club deals.....

+1 for the Shangri La. Alhtough occassionally you might be bothered by working girls and boys.

If you're more after service apartment vs hotels, I can higly recommend Picasso Boutique Apartments

The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences, Makati City, Philippines

It's situated near Ayala Triangle, so it's definitely walkable to Greenbelt etc, however cheap enough if you want to taxi it. Service was great, rooms were extremely large. The girlfriend loved the bathroom. The whole place was very modern, and there was free wifi.
