Luggage repairs in Sydney?

My luggage needs new wheels. The trusted Samsonite hard shell suitcase and Antler soft trolley both need new wheels because of the mileage they've eaten so far. They are from the era of two-wheelers, those which you lug behind you (and which stand still without babysitting on trains, buses, etc ).

I have use Sydney Luggage Centre in Mascot but it seems they've closed their repair shop. Where to now with these, please? Any recommendations?

I can’t comment on Antler, but have you tried contacting Samsonite directly? I’ve had to replace various wheels, handles, rubber seals etc over the years and they’ve always been brilliant. The handle on my Antler carry on broke yesterday and I'm in Europe and travelling. It's a public holiday here today so have to make a call on whether to buy another and abandon this one. Very annoying

Updating this after the fact. I went to The Luggage Repair Centre at 317 Sussex St. A small shop front but a reasonably busy shop selling good quality gear. They clearly cater for the more frequent traveller.

The repairs took a week and cost $80/bag. With the duration, I gave them a week because I was in no rush. They clearly could have done them in a day or two as an urgent job but I had no need for that.

Got the zip fixed a few weeks ago for $60...my 2 wheeler carry on Antler bag lives on to fight another day, more than 17 years after I bought it in Hong Kong. It has been to many, many places! 3rd repair...one of which I repaired myself as the handle got jammed due to a broken part....I kept an eagle eye out for an Antler bag during council clean up, eventually found one, took the handle apart and retrieved the part that needed replacing in my handle.

PS: FYI the Sussex St shop is closing permanently in early August and moving to 1193 Botany Rd Mascot.
