Unless you are referring to any bonuses there is no difference when a booking is made in relation to status credit earn, so I really have no idea what you are meaning..

It's a real challenge to work out the meaning most times.

Qantas should have rolled out the red carpet at 500 SCs. Virgin does.

VA though issued me a new VA VGW card on attaining PS. Only problem with that, is that I can't do a standing authority direct debit for regular expenses, as the card number changes when you go up or down a SC tier.
Guess I can enjoy it while it lasts. Enjoy QF SG when I get to 700 SCs.
Its all downhill after this, as the high QF FF points and SCs will run down over the next year, and then, real low earn rates.

I've understood that getting the loyalty bonus for the first time is exciting. Perhaps so exciting that the congratulations was overlooked.
