New job and it seems Virgin is preferred locally (possible BFOD policy, not sure as yet) hence some lounge access will be handy until status obtains it. Has anyone had success with getting the lounge nomination fee waived?

Seeing as your QF WP an EY status match to their gold tier would be a path I would be pursuing, they seem to be generous with handing them out.

I tried without success. I had bookings in the system that would of taken me to Sliver at the time. I then paid to join, approx 6 weeks later I made Gold and was refunded all but $25.00 of the $300 annual fee.

Cheers
Dave.
