I am trying to find some reference to lounge access in Barcelona. Mrs GPH is due there in 4 hours, flying code share (QF flight no). To LHR and then to SYD. As a gold FF she. " should " be eligible for the OW intl biz lounge.

It is I, Leclerc !

Lounge access - oneworld

It would appear that all lounges in Barcelona are operated by thrid parties - generally unless flying J/F you don't get access to third party lounges based on status - CDG (paris) is a good example of this.

There are four lounges listed - all are third party.

Advise her to ask at check in for a lounge pass - is she flying BA?

The information is conflicting on the one world website, it appears from the IB website that OWE and OWS do indeed get access to the VIP Lounges if flying OW. I've definitely been in the lounge in BCN with NB daughter as guest but cannot remember if this was due to class of service or status
The link to IB is below

Answer to first question. Not sure. I went looking for info on Barcelona lounges. This was the closet I could get.

Answer to second question: hopefully a requested upgrade to J will help, she is flying a QF flight number on a BA service with 4 hours stop over at LHR. Then on to Sydney and eventually home to

I've been to several of the BCN Lounges - I think I've been to three of them (I think Pau Casals, Miro and Colomer). They're all much the same. Basic food, no free wi-fi, showers available but you pay EUR10 for a towel. They have nice views of the terminal below though.

My experience is that you'll get access, even though it's QF, most likely it will be to the Miro Lounge (BA).
