Lounge Access question

Hi all, hoping you could help me out with something simple.

I'm on MH from SIN-KUL-HKG. I'm in cattle class SIN-KUL, then business class KUL-HKG, all on one fare.
I was wondering if I could get access to the lounge in SIN, as I will be stuck in transit for a good 5 hours.

If not, I guess I'll see if I can sweet talk the check-in agent in SIN?

I would suspect the answer is no unless you have status with Malaysia Airlines or a One World carrier - minimum is Emerald I believe. Changi airport is pretty good however, so even if you don't get lounge access, there's lots of places to chill out.

Sapphire level sgtatus is sufficient to access MH Golden Lounge at SIN.

Changi airport is pretty good however, so even if you don't get lounge access, there's lots of places to chill out.

Indeed SIN is one of the better airports if you have a long transit and no lounge access. Lots to do there.

It would if there was an MH Golder Lounge at SIN. But there's not.

You have a couple of lounges where you can pay for access if you like, but its Changi and I dont think it is worth it. They have excellent relaxing areas, movies etc and its easy to spend 5 hours there.

If you have Amex black with Westpac you can get Priority Pass that gives you access to a few lounges, or if you have ANZ Black which gives you access to some other ones. Personally I would just get a nice cuppa coffee and go lay down on one of their lounges that they have around the place.

Ah I have Amex black with Westpac and didn't even know about priority pass!
Looking now. I leave in about 6 hours so probably won't get anything

No, unfortunately it takes a few weeks to set up but it might help you on the next trip.
I know Ambassador Lounge is a paid lounge at Changi but so not worth the money.
