Hi All,

I'm at gold status with Velocity and will soon be travelling to Paris on Singapore Airlines. I know that I can use the Krisflyer Gold Lounge in Singapore but was wondering about lounge access in Paris at the Star Alliance lounge. As a Virgin Gold member, but not Star Alliance or Krisflyer frequent flyer, am I able to use this or is it not accessible unless I were to be a Gold member of either of these programs, given it is not a dedicated Singapore Airlines lounge?

Thanks in advance.

No lounge access at CDG I'm afraid. :( When travelling on SQ in economy, you only have lounge access at ports where SQ operate their own lounge.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I figured that would be the case, downfall of Velocity not being Star Alliance affiliated I guess. Thanks so much for the response!

book an EY flight that can be cancelled, and use their lounge? Its quite nice - though the tactic is a bit shifty.
