I thinking of booking some flights in May where I fly into IST arriving from international and then fly out the next morning domestically on a different airline (so no automatic transferring of bags etc)

I have been trying to nut it out, if I fly into IST is there anyway i could find a lounge to stay in overnight at the airport, then in the morning go and collect my bags and head over to the domestic terminal to fly out, save the hassles of a hotel transfer.

There are 24 hour lounges in the domestic terminal but it seems like they will be past where you need a ticket to get through from what I am trying to research, and so seeing i will have my luggage and no ticket I guess that's ruled out, but I'm also unsure on arrival in IST is there is any access to lounges i will have access to (not *A but maybe paid ones) or are you off your plane, straight through passport control and then off to get your bags with lounges on a different floor???

If anyone has passed through IST recently and has much knowledge I'd be happy to hear from them...
