I believe you'll have access to the SilverKris Lounge in Changi flying J and as each terminal has one, will depend on which terminal you're leaving from as to which SilverKris Lounge you'll use. Can't answer the second point, but have just returned from OS via Changi and it didn't appear that renos were happening yet in Terminal 3. :D

If you are flying J on SIA you can use any SilverKris J lounge - does not have to be the terminal from which your flight departs.

I will actually be in SIN Sat aft / Sun morn – will try to find out what state of play actually is with lounge renos if that helps
But I would be amazed if SQ are considering renos to current lounges in either T2 or T3.

Depending upon the duration of the stopover, it is always a learning experience to use the lounges in two terminals if your trip requires you to go T2 & T3 anyway.

Regardless of any renovations in progress, the SQ J experience will ensure their premium pax are looked after on the ground and in the air.

The SilverKris Business Class Lounge... Use the lounge in T3 as it is far superiour.

Note: I don't believe either SilverKris Business Class Lounge in Changi are under any renovation. After all, T3 one is "almost new", while T2 SKL just finished renovation last year.

If you are going to be in Changi for over 3 hours, I would recommend you to try both T2 and T3 lounges and see which one you prefer. After all, what have you got to loose? Personally, I prefer T3 lounge. It is bigger and I prefer to get a seat by the window overlooking the concourse. Lastly, the shower in T3 is larger with multi-shower head, definitely feels more luxurious.

But, please don't let my bias affect your view. Since it is your first time, just try both out. Or view the lounge as a cafe stop between shops in the terminal.

Lastly and finally - If you arrive during lunch/dinner time and have couple of hours to kill. Why not "exit" immigration in T3 and go down to basement foodcourt for some local delicious meal? Last months, I actually left my carry-on inside Private Room and go out to the basement grab a take-away Peanut soup and enjoy it in the TPR... In/out of Immigration plus grabbing take away - 10 minutes... Meal - Delicious :p

Better off going to the staff canteen, cheaper :)
