Looking for BNE-CGK in Y next week, is there a reason it is so busy?

Trying to find BNE-CGK in Y to arrive CGK next Thursday, used Seatcounter.com and everyone looks very busy - either out of Aus or into Indo. Is it a busy time of year or just an under serviced route? I can understand not being able to get home as everyone tries to escape the "threat" (cant find anything for Sunday night). Any clues? Anyone hiding flights on me? Doesn't help trying to book a week out and being very limited on dates.

Tried SQ via SIN? Seems to have reasonable availability either with direct connexion on o/night BNE-SIN flight or on afternoon flight out with o/night connextion.

Based on the QLD state shcool site here the holidays finish this week so shouldnt dramatically impact next Thursday...

The only time I flew SYD-CGK-SYD this service was full in both directions. Isn't this QF service only available 3 days a week?

The other possibility is that Asian Cup, soccer, is on right now and Jakarta will be hosting the final on 29 July 2007. Many Australian soccer followers would expect Australia to be in the final and as QF have limited flights to CGK seats even a week out from the final are sold out. Just a thought.

Indeed is great to back to somewhat normality as the kids are back in prison ... um school.

Managed to get SQ BNE-CGK for $800 incl, coming back is QF in full Y for $1530, expensive, but at least I got a seat.
