Long Haul Upgrades using Points

Hi

I was planning a trip to Europe next year and was wondering whether it is possible to upgrade from economy or premium economy to business using VFF points? (either on the SYD - AUH Virgin operated leg or AUH - CDG on Etihad).

I scoured the site but could only find references to domestic or intl short-haul upgrades.

Thanks Deka! so looks like only gold status members and on VA operated flights .... better get racking up those status credits!
