Planning our first regular Drinks night in London.

When: Thursday 7 February
Drinks 6:00pm
Dinner for 7:00pm?

Where: TBD

Menu: TBC

FWIW, my thoughts (for London Bridge) would be to start at the Market Porter pub at Borough Market and then go to Giuseppe's Italian across the road. Good boozer to start at and a decent place to eat afterwards. You'd need to book for dinner though as it is a lively place.

For Victoria - The Phoenix is a lovely little pub that has done the trick for me a few times. Plenty of restaurants nearby if the menu doesn't suit (although the food is tops).

Only a few mins up the road from me.. haven't been there yet but will have a look.

I dont mind where we end up. As long as there is transport nearby.
 
Ok, looks like this will have to be postponed for a week or so. I'm now heading back from Norwich that day and have no idea when I'll arrive, and Flashware has had something creep up as well that will make it difficult to attend.

Thanks for the reminder Mal, was flat out yesterday! Wednesday's are generally best for me........ but can work around things on Thursdays too (on any given week).

As the event organiser for the Melbourne drinks night, I think it would be frowned upon if I bailed from my own event and atteneded London drinks, as such I shall be an apology for this one.
