Location of customs counter at Mel T2 landside

I have some goods I am hand carrying to a trade show in Thailand under a Carnet. I have to get the goods inspected and the carnet stamped prior to checking in at the QF counter for the flight. I rang customs this morning as I thought I might need to go their offices which are off airport and they are only open Mon-Fri. The only other customs I know about is the one airside. They assured me there is a counter landside in T2 and that is where I need to go on Saturday morning but they could not tell me where it was. I don't remember ever seeing one and I know MEL pretty well. I just looked at a detailed map of MEL and its not marked. Does anyone know where it is? It's a relatively early dep on Sat morning and I don't really want to be staggering around the airport looking for it when I arrive there.
