Linking Separate Domestic Bookings

Hi All,
I have a flex PER - BNE return flight in a couple of weeks booked and now need to add into ROK on the way over and out of MKY on the way back, my question is if i book the BNE - ROK and MKY - BNE as one way can i then call Qantas and have them linked to the original PER - BNE flights to save the need to bag collect and recheck if not any other suggestions. Adding to this the original PER - BNE is a flex DSC flight and while not desperate for the DSC would prefer to get them.

You should try to add the new flights to your existing booking to get the DSC.

You can link the separate bookings, but it doesn't count for much. Having said that, Qantas will through-check on separate tickets. Interline and Through Checked Baggage

If the existing booking is “Flex”, then you should be able to cancel to voucher and rebook. The voucher will retain the same PNR that’s bestowed with DSC benefits.

It might actually be cheaper than two seperate tix?
