Hi all, random post with a random question.

Although I have had the pleasure of flying with JetGo (RIP) out of Albion Park, I haven;t yet done so with Fly Corporate/Link. I'm hoping, for the Region, that they are doing well and the new terminal is a reflection of that.

My question relates more to the scheduling/operation of aircraft into and out of Albion Park. I always thought that it was one aircraft that arrived from Melbourne or Brisbane and then continued onto either of those destinations. However, today, there are 2 Link Airways planes - with one having come from Canberra. Does anyone have any information on how the operations work in relation to aircraft utilisation for this route?

Thank you

Hi all,
I have yet to have the pleasure of utilising Link Airways out of Albion Park, though I did use their predecessor's service a few times. I hope the new terminal is a reflection of the service going well.

My question relates to utilisation of aircraft to provide the service into and out of Albion Park.. i was always under the impression that it is one plane that is dispatched from Melbourne or Brisbane and then flown onto either destination, sometimes with an overnight layover. However, today there are 2 Link Airways planes at the airport, with one coming in from a scheduled service from Melbourne and the other being flown from Canberra.

Is anyone able to provide any insight into how Link operates in relation to utilisation of aircraft and this route?

Thank you

Looking at their website I cant see a regular schedule to CBR - it appears BNE and MEL are from WOL.

Perhaps the CBR flight was a charter? It appears head office is in CBR and there are direct flights to Newcastle and Hobart from CBR.

Their site has the information to work out fleet movements but it’ll be a bit of work to pull the various routes and line up the data.
