LHR Taxes

I'll be flying in to T3 on Nov 15 on QF5/QF9 via SIN. I'll be in London for 8 days then I fly out to Cairo, then back to LHR and back to MEL.

Q. Are there departure taxes payable each time I leave LHR? I can't find a reference to them but seem to recall there was some huge slug imposed lately.

Absolutly; it's ~£19 to simply use UK airports

Air passenger duty to non European destinations is currently either £40 or £80 depending on class of travel.

It will be between between £45 and £170 to depart from the UK with changes increasing level from next month.
