Learning about FF programs in prep for our next big trip

Hi all,

Found AFF after some googling and what a brilliant resource!
I've learned loads, and even used a member's link to get one of those Velocity Amex cards and hopefully will net myself 110,000 points (plus 20 for the person who's link I clicked on!).
We're off to Miami next year on a cruise in the Bahamas, so am using tips & tricks learned here to make the most of our points and have a trip where we actually start attaining loyalty points for a change... lounge access here we come!
