Am flying Bus. Mel - UK with Royal Brunei in September, Realise it is a "dry" airline.
I'm informed we can use United lounge in Mel and Etihad in Lon. Any info? and we can take alcohol on board but must leave any unused.

Any futher tit bits re above airline appreciated.

I’d previously read on this site that if you buy duty free in the airport and tell them who you’re flying they can separate the alcohol into different bags, seal them, and then you can take the sealed bag with you at the transit point and use it on the next sector… however, having spoken to someone who has done that, they said everyone on the plane was under that impression, but then everything was confiscated in Brunei.

So at least for the first sector you can bring your own duty free on board, but you will have to leave what has been opened and unfinished and I’m not sure if a second sealed bag will be allowed for the next sector.

At check-in if you ask them they’ll no doubt tell you what lounge you can use and directions to it.
